Environment
From the camping there are many attractions nearby that you can go by car, but also by bicycle to visit. Most of the sights brochures are availiable at the reception. Also bike and walking trails are availible at the reception.
Weltvogelpark Walsrode
Largest bird park in the world with the most beautiful and rare birds in a beautiful area, about 4000 birds in 650 species. Tropical hall, petting zoo and an adventure playground.
Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen
Animal Land (100 ha) with about 1500 exotic animals, you can drive on your own car or by Serengetibus, exciting jungle safari, monkey country with 220 monkeys in 20 different varieties. New is the water safari and the white lions.
Heide-Park Soltau

Magic-Park Verden (Aller)

Dino-Park Münchehagen

Gedenkstätte Bergen-Belsen
In this area of former prisoners of war and concentration camp, graves remind the suffering and death of prisoners. Anne Frank died here in March 1945 after her sister Margot. An information center will explain the stories of that time
Celle, Residenzstadt
One of the finest medieval towns in Germany with striking buildings, streets and squares. Only in the city you will find beautifully restored half-timbered houses in the pedestrian zone. Visit the palace of the former Duke of Braunschweig-Lüneburg and the museum Boman.
